Vietjet Sells One Million Discounted Tickets On All Intl Routes

HCM CITY — Vietjet is giving away one million discounted tickets, priced from zero đồng, between now and Friday, the budget carrier has announced.

These tickets, available at www.vietjetair.com from noon to 2pm, apply for all international routes to Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea); Hong Kong; Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan); Singapore; Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai (Thailand)/Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Yangon (Myanmar) and Siem Reap (Cambodia).

Particularly, flights connecting Việt Nam and Japan are available in the promotion in the three golden days until Friday including Hà Nội/HCM City - Osaka  and Hà Nội - Tokyo.

The flight period for all promotional airfares is from February 14 to December 31, according to Vietjet.

Last week, the airline said it would offer special services which enables passengers to carry peach and ochna flowers on separate domestic routes to and from Hà Nội, HCM City, Đà Lạt and Đà Nẵng, at a cost of VNĐ450,000 (about US$20) per bunch.

This service, which will be available from January 15 until February 20, aims to meet passengers’ demands to carry these flowers in checked-in luggage during Tết holidays, Vietjet said in a statement.

Accordingly, each passenger is allowed to carry one bunch of either flowers. The maximum dimensions are 150 (cm) x 40 (cm) x 40 (cm). Every flight is scheduled to carry up to 30 bunches. Notably, peach and ochna flowers should be wrapped with firm covers. — VNS
