Vietcombank, BIDV, Techcombank, VietinBank, VPBank In Top 50 Leading Brands By Forbes Vietnam

Forbes Vietnam has just announced a list of 50 leading brands in business fields in Vietnam. The total brand value of the list in 2019 reached more than 9.3 billion US dollars, up by 1.2 billion US dollars compared to the third list.

In particular, the 10 leading brands are familiar names including Vinamilk, Viettel, Sabeco, Vinhomes, Masan Consumer, MobiFone, VinaPhone, Vietcombank, FPT, Vincom Retail with a total brand value of over 6.9 billion US dollars.

According to statistics, there are 20 brands worth over 100 million US dollars. In terms of sectors, the food and beverage industry has 10 representatives, accounting for the largest proportion in terms of quantity.

The sectors of consumer goods, banking, telecommunications, real estate and retail accounted for a high proportion in terms of value. The supporting industries, agriculture, securities, tourism and accommodation services have only one representative.

Compared to the list in 2018, this year’s list expanded the brand number from 40 to 50, to match the development of businesses and the economy.

In addition to Vietcombank, four other banks including BIDV, Techcombank, VietinBank and VPBank are also on the list.

The brand value of these five banks is more than 800 million US dollars. In particular, Vietcombank’s brand value is 246.5 million US dollars, followed by 148 million US dollars. Techcombank, VietinBank and VPBank have similar brand values of respectively 141.1 million, 139.9 million, and 138.3 million US dollars.
