Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Vietbank) has opened a new transaction office on Do Xuan Hop Street in HCM City’s outlying District 9.
In a press release, the lender said 2018 was an extremely difficult year for banks in terms of expanding their network because the State Bank of Vietnam had been focused on ensuring banks operated safely and efficiently rather than expanded.
But thanks to its good performance, it said it was licensed to open 18 new branches and transaction offices.
The bank expects to open all 18 by June 30.
To mark the branch opening, the bank is offering depositors the chance to win a Mazda CX-5 and other prizes in a lucky draw, besides many gifts to customers.
