Sai Gon Thuong Tin Joint Stock Commercial Bank (Sacombank) has just issued Resolution No.38/2018/NQ-HDQT. Accordingly, the Bank’s Board of directors unanimously approved to additionally elect two board members at the2017 annual general meeting including one independent board member.
Sacombank’s Board of directors also adopted the announcement content on nomination and self-nomination of additionally elected members to be members of Sacombank’s Board of directors for the 2017-2021 periods.
In a relevant document, Sacombank’s Board of directors fixed the time to organise the annual general meeting at 7.30 on April 20, 2018 at White Palace International Conference Centre.
A year ago, when the personnel issue was not solved, the plan to organise the annual general meeting of Sacombank was continuously delayed.
At the annual general meeting 2015, 2016 on June 30, 2017, Duong Cong Minh was officially elected as Chair of Sacombank, closing the power race at this bank.
Currently, Sacombank’s Board of directors has six members including Chair of the Board Duong Cong Minh, Standing deputy Chair Kieu Huu Duong, deputy Chair Pham Van Phong, member of the Board Nguyen Mien Tuan, member of the Board Nguyen Xuan Vu and Le Thi Hoa, independent member of the Board of directors.
