The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,567 dong/US dollar on June 11, up nine dong from the end of last week.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,244 dong/US dollar and the floor rate is 21,890 dong/US dollar.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks fluctuated slightly.
Vietcombank listed the buying price at 22,765 dong/US dollar, down 15 dong and selling price at 22,835 dong/US dollar, down 35 dong compared to the end of last week.
At BIDV, the greenback was also listed at 22,765-22,835 dong/US dollar (buying-selling), up five dong in both rates compared to the end of last week.
Meanwhile, Techcombank kept the buying and selling prices unchanged from the end of last week, listing at 22,745-22,845 dong/US dollar respectively.
