The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,459 dong/US dollar on March 21, up nine dong from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,137 dong/US dollar and the floor rate 21,793 dong/US dollar.
Vietcombank offered the buying rate at 22,735 dong/US dollar and the selling rate at 22,805 dong/US dollar (selling), both up 10 dong from the previous day.
BIDV added five dong to both rates, listing the buying rate at 22,735 dong/US dollar and the selling rate at 22,805 dong/US dollar.
Meanwhile, the rates listed at Vietinbank jumped up 58 dong to 22,734 dong/US dollar (buying) and 22,804 dong/US dollar (selling).
