Reference Exchange Rate Up 10 VND On April 22

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,256 VND per USD on April 22, up 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,954 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,558 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw decreases.

At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,330 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,540 VND/USD, unchanged from the same time on April 21.

Meanwhile, BIDV cut both rates by 15 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,360 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,540 VND/USD.

Techcombank also reduced both rates by 17 VND, posting the buying rate at 23,335 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,535 VND/USD./.
