The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,602 dong/US dollar on June 19, unchanged from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,280 dong/US dollar and the floor rate is 21,926 dong/US dollar.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks fluctuated.
Vietcombank listed the buying price at 22,800 dong/US dollar and selling price at 22,870 dong/US dollar, up 15 dong compared to yesterday.
At BIDV, the greenback was also listed at 22,805-22,875 dong/US dollar (buying-selling), up 20 dong in both rates compared to yesterday.
Meanwhile, Techcombank adjusted up the buying and selling prices from the previous day, listing at 22,775-22,875 dong/US dollar respectively.
