Reference Exchange Rate Goes Down On July 25

The State Bank of Vietnam revised its daily reference exchange rate down by 4 VND to 23,072 VND/USD on the morning of July 25.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is 23,764 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,378 VND/USD.

At 8:15, Vietcombank cut both rates by 5 VND to 23,150 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling).

BIDV also listed the rates at 23,150 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling), both down by 5 VND from the same time on July 24.

Meanwhile, Techcombank kept the buying rate at 23,135 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,275 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous day.
