The tie-up between Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd and Vietnam International Bank has been a successful one, with their bancassurance business experiencing strong growth in the last three years.
The number of new policies increased by more than 200 per cent last year, Prudential said in a press release.
Under the country’s first bancassurance partnership with a contract term of 15 years, the two have been offering VIB customers options to meet their long-term financial goals in the last three years.
Prudential’s Pru-Flex Investment, a solution which offers both financial protection and the option to invest, has been particularly well received, with tens of thousands of policies bought within the first 10 months of last year.
Prudential and VIB have said they will continue to work closely together in marketing and sales and enhancing the customer experience and service quality.
