The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) had just decided to add the operation content to the operating license of the Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB).
Specifically, in the recently issued Decision No. 2561/QD-NHNN, the Governor of SBV decided to supplement Point Eight of the Operating License No. 0061/NH-GP dated April 13, 1996, of the Governor of SBV to OCB as follows: trading, supplying interest rate derivative products under the laws and the guidance of SBV.
OCB was responsible for carrying out the procedures prescribed in Clause Three, Article 18b of the SBV’s Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN of December 15, 2011, on licensing and organisation, operations of commercial banks, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign credit institutions and other international institutions engaged in banking operations in Vietnam (amended and supplemented by the Circular No.17/2017/TT-NHNN of November 20, 2017, for the above mentioned additional contents.
This Decision would take effect from the date of its signing and would be an integral part of License No. 0061/NH-GP dated April 13, 1996, of the Governor of SBV.
