New International Air Route Linking Central City, Bangkok Opened

An international air route linking Vinh city in the central province of Nghe An and Bangkok was opened on February 23 at the Vinh Airport, together with the commissioning of its international lounge.

The move will facilitate the acceleration of socio-economic-cultural development of the region as it serves the attraction of investment and trade activities, insiders said, describing this as an important step to open more routes in the time to come.

Also on the day, a charter flight was made on the route and another carrying 180 passengers from Thailand, the biggest group in many recent years, arrived at the Vinh Airport.
