NamABank Attaches Great Importance To Human Resource Development

At the recent Annual general Meeting (AGM), shareholders of NamA Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NamABank) gave approval to many important policies such as increasing charter capital, raising profits, listing on the stock market, continue to expand business network, etc. Along with these “heavy duty” tasks, the bank’s apparatus needs to meet the development of a workforce which is both stable in quality and professional.

The bank’s general director Tran Ngoc Tam said that focusing on human resource development is the core task for the development of an organisation. This activity is like building a solid foundation for a house, the stronger the foundation, the more solid the house will be”.

Thus, NamABank always strives to create the best working environment for employees to promote their capacity and constantly improve themselves. In addition to attractive salary and benefit policies, NamABank also offers a variety of benefits such as periodic health care, annual vacation, insurance and incentives for relatives of employees.

The bank also regularly implements programmes to find employees for the key and senior positions, and middle-level management positions to be ready to serve the future development of the apparatus. Particularly, in the context of the rapid industrial revolution 4.0, the bank still continues to promote the development of high quality workforce. The continuous efforts to create a healthy and dynamic working environment contributes significantly retaining talented people, stabilising personnel to create strength for the team.

NamABank has just entered the top 50 most attractive employer by Anphabe in May 2020. This is one of the evidences showing that NamABank’s strategic investment policies for the bank’s workforce have been on the right track.

With the ambition of breaking through and creating new waves in the finance and banking industry, NamABank determines to continue to build a commensurate human resource development. In 2020, NamABank was approved by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to open a series of new branches. The bank also targets to meet 100 percent of the personnel needs for network expansion.

At the same time, the bank will accelerate the improvement of KPI recognition and evaluation in the direction of stimulating labour productivity growth, attracting and retaining good personnel for the system.

The quality of the team is always a top concern of NamABank because human resource is the core of sustainable development, a valuable asset of a bank. Accordingly, in the near future, NamABank will continue to make efforts to create the best working environment for employees to develop themselves, strengthen internal connection activities, promote human resource training programmes, etc. to be ready for the new growth turning points.
