HSBC Vietnam has launched an omni-channel collection solution in Vietnam for the first time to help enterprises provide their customers with various payment options on a single platform.
HSBC said it has chosen Vietnam as the fifth market to deploy this service, due to the country’s strong growth in the ecommerce and mobile commerce fields.
In partnership with VietUnion (Payoo), a leading Vietnamese fintech payment service provider, HSBC’s omni-channel collection solution is aimed at providing a one-stop platform for firms active in e-commerce, mobile commerce or traditional sales channels.
Users of the service will enjoy several benefits, including a superior payment experience, real time notification of payment confirmations, visibility on transaction flows, streamlined reconciliation processes and increased cost efficiencies.
“We are very proud to be the first international bank to launch this innovative solution in Vietnam, making the country HSBC’s fifth market in the world to use the service,” said Nguyen Thi My Hanh, country head of global liquidity and cash management for HSBC Vietnam.
This ambitious, holistic and digitalised solution has proven that banks and fintech firms can flourish in partnership and will help boost digital payments, in line with the government’s strategy to encourage cashless transactions, she said.
