New self-scoring feature provides transparent information for customers to make decisions on cash loans.
In order to provide customers with transparent information and empower them to make their own decisions to apply for cash loans, Home Credit Vietnam officially launched a loan scoring function (aka self-scoring) on their mobile app. Customers can now check if they qualify for a cash loan in just three simple steps without actually applying for it.
Within 90 seconds, customers will know how much they are able to borrow and what interest rate will apply.
The self-scoring feature will boost transparency in loan information, helping customers gain efficient information to actively decide whether or not to apply for loans. They no longer need to call customer service for support, as they can check their loan eligibility anytime, anywhere, with the new feature on the app.
Such a feature has been used by millions of Home Credit customers in Europe and Asia and was then tailored for Vietnam.
“This is an important achievement in our digital transformation, to bring a ‘from fast to instant’ experience to customers, who now can check their eligibility without actually applying for loans,” said Dmitry Mosolov, CEO of Home Credit Vietnam. “We believe that giving our customers more power to decide whether to take out loans with us will lead to positive changes in the consumer finance industry.”
In addition to the self-scoring feature, Home Credit Vietnam’s mobile app has also recently had several important updates. For instance, customers now can easily check any available 0-per-cent interest rate offers from Home Credit. There are also plenty of exclusive offers for mobile app users in the Home Credit Zone, which can be used at partner shops and stores. The list of offers is updated every month to meet different customer needs in food and beverages (F&B), shopping, beauty services, entertainment, and travel.
Last but not least, Home Credit is aiming to fully digitise the loan process as part of their digital transformation. The consumer finance company has recently partnered with well-known fintech companies such as AirPay and most recently OnePay to offer different digital loan repayment options for users on the mobile app.
With the latest upgrade in August, the Home Credit app allows customer to easily repay their loan via their local bank accounts/ ATM cards from 25 bank partners with OnePay via the internet banking function. The transaction is totally secured by PCIDSS, SSL, and OTP technologies.
