Group to kick-off first travel content creator programme in July.Hanwha Group subsidiary Hanwha Dreamplus, a preferred investor and accelerator by early-age startups in South Korea, recently launched the Hanwha Dreamplus Travel Creator (DTC) programme in Vietnam.
This is the first time DTC has been organised in Vietnam, to find young people who are passionate about tourism and have the ability to create content, take photos, film, or design, to attend Dreamplus’s specialised training course and become a Travel Content Creator.
DTC was first launched in South Korea in 2014 and in July the programme will be deployed in Vietnam with cooperation from Hanwha Life Vietnam, DSSVTI, Pops Worldwide, Big Cat, and Highlands Coffee. To participate in the programme, applicants must submit their profile before July 2 and demonstrate one of the following skills: PlannerCopywriter, PhotoVideo Creator, or Designer.
After the selection round, the most impressive candidates passing the interview round will become Travel Content Creator trainees and attend the “tourism challenge” with DTC. During the eight weeks of the internship (from July 15 to September 6), trainees will be taught by professionals and influencers in the tourism industry in diverse skills such as planning, making videos, taking photos, and writing and managing personal social network channels.
During this time, each trainee will receive $1,000 to build a domestic trip to complete a “mission” with their new skills. They are also entitled to a grant of $250 each month.
After the eight weeks, the top applicants will be an official Hanwha Dreamplus Travel Content Creator for three months (from September to December). During this time, each Travel Content Creator will be given additional travel expenses of up to $1,000 and receive a salary of $250 per month to continue creating more exciting travel content as well as have the opportunity to participate in the Global DTC programme, where they can meet and work with Travel Content Creators from other countries.
With huge investment in the market in parallel with profound understanding of the community in Vietnam, the Hanwha Group recognises trends in tourism and hopes to assert itself among young people in the era of booming social networks. This is why Hanwha has brought the DTC programme to Vietnam after succeeding in South Korea.
After completing the programme, applicants can become an independent Travel Content Creator and conquer their travel passions. Candidates wishing to work at Hanwha will receive support.
