FE CREDIT Launches Digital Roadmap For Its Super Financial App

FE CREDIT has stepped up its “digital transformation game” by launching a new super mobile app, which promises to provide superior digitally financial experience to meet all diverse needs of its customers.

Over the past three years, FE CREDIT has realised that there were certain factors causing their business to change. One of them was that the customer behavior has been undergoing a rapid change. Although the company’s main target customers are mostly blue-collar workers, it was observed that they were becoming extremely mobile-centric and digitally savvy.

FE CREDIT also revealed the fact that they were getting a huge volume of incoming calls from customers at about 600,000 calls per month and 60 percent of them were basic queries such as card activation, PIN changing, credit limit or repayment schedule, etc. “Even if all of our customer service agents are serving at full capacity, we will still not be able to instantly address all customers’ requirements” said Basker Rangachari, Chief Marketing Officer of FE CREDIT.

Those are the reasons why the management team of FE CREDIT has decided to move ahead strongly with its digital transformation roadmap, to provide its customers with self-service solution via FE CREDIT Mobile app. By downloading this app, customers no longer have to call the customer service agents as they can access their loan or credit card account 24/7 with all information ready, just with the tips of their fingers.

After a great success of the launch of $NAP FE CREDIT’s digital lending platform deployed last year FE CREDIT has seen its customers adoption rate increase well beyond expectation and customer satisfaction reached a new height. Thanks to its ability to help the customers proactively apply for loans and get instant approval through the app, the company decided to focus on enhancing their mobile apps.

However, as there were a few separate mobile apps, FE CREDIT realised that their customers needed a one-stop solution for all their needs. Therefore, the company decided to launch a digital road map for this super app. The first wave of this road map is consolidating the access to all FE CREDIT’s apps and create a “apps in app” capability in the super app called FE CREDIT Mobile.

FE CREDIT Mobile app, “the one app for all needs”, provides comprehensive user experience to customers and enables them to do transactions in just “one-touch” for daily financial needs. The launch of this app marks a critical step forward by FE CREDIT on its journey of creating a financial services ecosystem through technological platform to serve millions of Vietnamese people.

“We want to do beyond banking and leverage related services and make a single gateway through FE CREDIT. This digital roadmap is to deliver the ultimate consumer finance experience. With the app, we can meet daily financial needs of every Vietnamese customer anytime, anywhere,” said Basker.

With FE CREDIT Mobile App, customers can do more than just basic queries, from easily applying for a new loan or credit card or purchasing exclusive insurance deals, to checking their loan and card details, and conducting daily transactions such as mobile top-up, utility bill payment, loan repayment, purchasing movie ticket, booking air ticket and locating nearest ATMs or VNPost branches, etc.

Moreover, this mobile app is integrated with many advanced features such as allowing users to scan QR code and pay at Smartpay merchants or giving users a chance of earning rewards by referring friends or merchants to FE CREDIT.

Speaking about the benefits for the app users, Basker added: “In fact, there are many small businesses whom you interact with everyday, that are looking for cashless solutions to help them serve their customers better and grow their business be it the corner coffee shop or the street vendor downstairs. By cooperating with Smartpay, FE CREDIT is not only giving these merchants a faster way to receive their payments but also giving them immediate access to two million FE credit card holders who have their credit line available for day to day purchases at any store.”

“Today, the first version of FE CREDIT Mobile App is promising to meet daily needs of the customers before they actually think they need it. Going forward, FE CREDIT will continuously keep enhancing the app with new capabilities and features. Many of our partners’ offers will also be available for our customers via the app, for instance, a midnight sales coupon or the latest mobile phone,” Basker firmly shared.

By constantly upgrading the app based on deep insights into customer behaviors, FE CREDIT is not just doing a one-time upgrade for this Mobile app but is reinforcing its mission to enhance digital customer experience and boost transactional volume.

The latest version of the app is available on App Store and Google Play. Download it by clicking here (http://bit.ly/fecmobile) or search for “FE CREDIT Mobile” on the App Store or Google Play.
