E-wallet SmartPay Offers Online Savings With Viet Capital Bank Tie-up

E-wallet SmartPay and Viet Capital Bank signed an agreement on July 14 to become strategic partners in providing online savings services.

SmartPay users including small traders can now save online at high interest rates and get other benefits.

Do Thanh Nam, director of e-banking, Viet Capital Bank, said: “The collaboration will contribute to speeding up the trend of electronic transactions in Vietnam in both large cities and rural areas. SmartPay meets users’ technology, security and safety requirements.”

Ta Xuan Thinh, consumer e-wallet director, SmartPay, said: “SmartPay will tie up with more partners to provide [more] new products.”

Since its launch in May last year, the e-wallet has signed up more than 185,000 merchants and nearly 1.7 million users.
