Navigos Group, the leading recruitment service provider in Vietnam, had just announced information on the recruitment needs of medium and high-level personnel in Vietnam market through the recruitment demand of customers in Navigos Search in Q2/2020.
The report said that the new normal state had stimulated the spending needs of users again, but the opening of trade between countries so far had not shown signs of re-establishment. This led to the opposite in recruitment recovery between the field of Services for users and Services for businesses.
According to the statistics of Navigos Search in Q2/2020, the Services for consumers sectors had most recovered (with a decrease compared to the previous quarter but a low rate). However, the Business Services segment had not shown any sign of recovery. Even in this sector, all groups had the sharpest decline in recruitment demand compared to Q1.
As for the banking sector alone, Navigos Search said that, in general, it was still in the stage of reviewing operating costs according to the Governor’s announcement, leading to halting recruitment demands in the industry. There had been no sign of a robust reboot, especially for the hiring segment of high-end candidates.
However, in the segment of employees and experts, in banks from Q2, there had been a trend of massively recruiting business positions to serve cross-sales services in life insurance.
